z3razerviperForwardistI own all the dlc and the game on the switch and was a ps4 backer. You should have a free upgrade to the ultimate edition for those of us that supported you in the kickstarter and paid fuil price for both the game and dlc on the switch having to miss out on the switch costumes and color swaps is not fair. Yes i know you gave me a steam code for ultimate but thats not my platform of choice for this game.

Voldi-WFAdministratorUnfortunately we have no upgrade to announce at this time. The Ultimate Edition is a separate game sku from the original game and is not a DLC or Upgrade.
Because the Ultimate Edition was not a part of the original rewards for backers, the Steam code is a gift and is not connected to your preferred system.

z3razerviperForwardistSo those of us that purchased the original game and all the DLC on consoles have no way of getting the Tinker bat DLC or any of the other stuff without completely rebuying the game. I find that distasteful. It definitely puts me off ever doing another Kickstarter with you guys or purchasing your games when they’re first released if it all.

papsteForwardistI bought Shantae: Half Genie Hero on the Nintendo switch eshop for 15.99. When I tried to launch the game recently, I was asked if I wanted to be forwarded to the Nintendo eshop for purchasing the DLC. The DLC are listed at 8.99GBP, 7.19GBP and 7.19GBP, a total of 23.37GBP extra. Re-purchasing the Ultimate edition is 21.89GBP. Even if someone chooses to buy all of the DLC, they will be missing the Tinkerbat Transformation, Blue Shantae and Classic Risky costumes? So basically the people that bought your game when it first came out are being punished, by making them pay more and still not getting the complete package. Or they are forced to repurchase the game in the form of the Ultimate edition. Am I missing something here? This isn’t really a good marketing strategy in my opinion and certainly not fair to the people that supported you from the beginning. Ultimate Edition being a separate SKU is not a good enough excuse in my opinion. You could just offer the DLC at a reduced price or offer the Enchanced Edition for free to the people that have the original game and all of the DLCs. When I bought NBA Playgrounds from Mad Dog Games, their enhanced edition was also a separate SKU. Mad Dog gave the enhanced edition for free to the people that had the original game. That is what a company that respects their customers would do. I was planning to also buy a physical version of your game as I am a collector, but now I am not so sure. Please correct me if I got something wrong here.

z3razerviperForwardistFor me the big issue here is the dlc costumes and colors that you can only get with the ultimate edition. If I had a way to get that extra dlc i would have been happy. Ultimate really should not have been a separate sku it should have been a bundle of the existing content

SashaNekosuneForwardistI was really hoping i could trade my Ultimate Key from a Steam Version to a Switch version, since it seems a little redundant to add it to my Steam account when i already have most of whats offered in the ultimate edition on that version, i would love to be able to play The ultimate edition on the go and what not. :c no chance for that?
