I think this forum would have been more lively if WayForward would have done some twitch live Stream of there work on Shantae:1/2 Genie Hero and any other WayForward games being devloped.
If you check the Them’s Fighitin’ Herds Forum they have live streams once a month showing their porgress on the game. Last month Mane6, the backers and non-backers [I backed this game] had two live streams to mark the anniversary of Them’s Fightin’ Herds getting funded the special guest on the secound stream was Lauren Faust [MLP].
Lauren Faust is also helping out with the development of Them’s Fightin’ Herds.

Most of the Mane6 staff working on Them’s Fightin’ Herds have their very own thread/posts where they show what they have created on Them’s Fightin’ Herds in the backers room. Backers can also post comments, ideas and ask the devs question about the work they are doing.
I think if WayForward had did something similar to what Mane6 does with their dev showing more images, videos, live streams of Shantae: 1/2 Genie Hero this formum might be a bit more lively. + There was only a handful of times we got to vote on some of the content that will be placed in the game.
Maybe WayForward should do some live streams when they start working on the future DLC and if they decide to work on any of the stretch goals that didn’t get funded to get more backers and non backers to visit their forum and YouTube channel
