I love Shantae series very much, and I really want to play this verson !February 23, 2016 at 5:05 pm #11524
The game in question was never made into a full game. It was only made in pieces to resemble a game as a concept. Thus its not big enough to be a demo. Most ideas from that game were used when they made Risky’s Revenge. So playing Risky’s Revenge would give you a good idea of what Revolution would have been about. But thank you for your interest! 😀March 10, 2016 at 11:08 am #11549
I was wondering if it would be possible for us to get our hands in to the demo version or possibly even source code of it.
I bet hacking community would love to make it to be a full game.August 27, 2016 at 11:35 pm #12818
From a video (on Twitch I think?) I got the impression that Risky’s Revolution had at least one fairly complete level (a forest-cliff-type level where Shantae hops between the background and foreground using some sort of teleporter-like thing), so that suggests another idea: add that level as a bonus level in a later Shantae game (or maybe even an update to an existing one)?
Even without that, I’d be interested to see more than just the one video of it.October 3, 2016 at 9:32 pm #12968
Sounds …. RISKY! XD
But hey that would definitely be interesting to see. :3October 4, 2016 at 11:02 am #12971
I’ll make the suggestion of it being another level, but I know there are limitations in taking a game made for one device and porting it to another. Updating code, art assets, ect. can be a tricky thing. I let upper management and Mr. Bozon know all the time what people are discussing here in the forums. You all make such awesome suggestions. 🙂October 23, 2016 at 3:31 am #13028
I’m fairly certain some people just want the ROM files for Spanky Joe.November 15, 2016 at 5:00 pm #13072

Certainly true, but that didn’t stop them from doing it as an easter egg in Pirate’s Curse!November 19, 2016 at 2:08 pm #13073
I would also like to try the beta of Shantae: Revolution
Any unfinished level can tell a lot about the development of it.
Also tested an unfinished game causes in me the soul of a video game tester.
Most of the games I tested showed me the defects to be improved and how the development of the game had evolved.
I know that a portage of the game would be useless at the stage of a pre-demo.
But to acquire a famous beta cartridge or to have a Rom of it, would be the holy grail, for all the testers and developer.December 7, 2016 at 3:05 pm #13342
I would love to see the ROM released publicly, yeah. Volition did the same thing a few years with an unreleased Saint’s Row PSP game, and I respect them a ton for it.
