Ah! It’s so awesome to hear and see so many kinsmen as well as different sort of people in these forums. 🙂
Also, again for those who are new in here. Welcome to WayFoward forums. I hope we can get along nicely no matter what our opinions are about certain things.June 10, 2014 at 12:32 pm #4498
Hello, my name is DevEd. I don’t really have much to say about myself other than the following:
June 12, 2014 at 7:57 am #4533
- I am 17 years old.
- I like video games.
- I like making video games in Game Maker.
- I like making chiptunes for Game Boy.
- And, of course, I like WayForward and their games (especially Shantae).
I’m Grey, video game addict and aspiring voice actor. I don’t usually post on forums very often, but I’m hoping I’ll find something here that changes that. Glad to be a part of the community!June 14, 2014 at 10:52 am #4603
Hello, my name is Edward Falcon. You might remember me as the main character of Capcom’s arcade game and anime series Power Stone. Me and the fortune teller Rouge have gotten into a relationship and we are engaged to get married and possibly have a child. But I’m here because WayForward are friends of the family and I like what they do and have lots of talented people for them. ((Note:I’d post this as my RL self, but that would be boring, so I’m posting as a character I like. Also, I did the thing with gravatar where I pick an avatar, and it’s still not showing any avatar.))June 14, 2014 at 4:39 pm #4611
Hi I’m endshark but you can call me endshark (:V). I draw pictures of the mostly anime variety (very little fanart tho), and make music, and like watching Kill La Kill a lot. Also I’m a huge Mega Man fan. My preferences for videogames are all over the map these days, I play a bit of everything but I tend to lean towards action games and platformers. I’d love to be working in videogames but I work in a bank right now.
I don’t really have much more to say than that :3June 15, 2014 at 4:26 pm #4642
Hello there, I am AeonAGV and I am a railfan, gamer, and lover of all things cute. As of now,I am trying to find my place in the world and leave a name for myself. As mentioned before,I am a gamer, with varying tastes,I hope I can find some common ground among you all.aside from Shantae of course. Last but not least,I own over 100 OCs (Original Characters) that I usually use for writing purposes and for art.
And that is it about me,I hope to make friends with all of you,and I’d like to start by saying that Basty, you have one heck of a badass looking face, like one of those anime shonen protagonists.June 18, 2014 at 7:56 am #4662
Nice to meet you all. I’m Thomas (SkyeWelse) and I’m a huge WayForward/ Shantae series fan. I’ve been playing WayForward games ever since Contra 4 was released. It was then that I realized, that WayForward has some serious aptitude for creating wonderfully crafted 2D games. I then got into Shantae, Wendy Every Witch Way, Sigma Star Story, Mighty Series, and well… pretty much every WayForward release thereafter. It’s a company that I feel is true to creating quality titles that are related to genres that I’m the most passionate about, “retro” games, that continue the evolution of the games/genres that I enjoyed and grew up with. Another thing that I like about WayForward is that they are unafraid of interjecting their own unique brand humour into games that they make. At times you can really see that they like to have fun with their games, which is not found terribly often in this day and age. You can clearly see this in games like Double Dragon Neon, Shantae and the Mighty series, and Adventure Time: Hey Ice King…
I enjoy the Shantae/Mighty series the most out of all of their titles and I’ve been very excited that there are not only 1, but 2 more Shantae games to be released in time. : ) I always felt that this series deserved more support and a larger fanbase, so I put this tribute site together for the Shantae series during the last Shantae Half-Genie Hero Kickstarter: http://www.shantae.net in hopes that it will be of some use to would-be Shantae fans and fans alike.
Anyhow, nice to meet you and I’m anxiously awaiting the release of Pirate’s Curse. : )

Hello, I’m Loïc aka Az-Bebere, a video games fan who so happens to be a backer of Half-Genie Hero and a Frenchman. Nice to meet you 😀July 17, 2014 at 8:59 pm #5063
Hi there, I’m FireFox, 18, from Australia and studying games and graphics programming.
I’m a recent backer of Shantae: Half Genie Hero after falling in love with the original game on my 3ds within about 5 minutes. It was an incredibly charming game. :3
It’s good to see quite a few people studying I.T. like me, so I hope to make myself more active here and in WayForward’s games.August 14, 2014 at 7:40 am #5396
Hello everybody, I am Sand Gecko
I do not know quite what to write, so I’m going for the time being only the most important mention of me.
The profession I run is the EFZ metal constructor.
I am interested in electricity, as well as the assembling and programming of computers.
I like good reading material and art, and every now and then I do not read only.
But also write times on one of my short stories or even make a little bit of art.
I am environmentally aware and not throw everything into the same rubbish bin, but Recycle.
To my personality, I think you can compare me to name the bear Baloo from the Jungle Book.
And of course I like video games.
PS: sorry for my bad english, I hope you guys can read everything correctly.August 14, 2014 at 8:48 am #5403

Welcome to Wayfoward forums mate.
Don’t worry about the grammar, it’ll get better in time and at least you are spelling correctly which is way more than most of the people on youtube are capable of. 🙂
I understood everything you said, the order of wording is just little off and there’s couple of words missing here and there but it’s nothing unbearable, I’ve seen worse.August 22, 2014 at 5:18 pm #5685
Sup! I’m Ty, better known online as I’m InvaderTAK (I prefer it without spaces but most sites don’t allow spaces in usernames so yeah). I’ve also gone by InvaderTAK16 (or other variants when needed). I was introduced to Shantae by a buddy of mine on Steam and decided to back Half-Genie Hero over Mighty No. 9 because I knew that game would get a truckload of funding from the revolting Mega Man fans (which I am a part of, actually) so I figured you guys needed the help more.
But enough about that how I got here. As you can see by my avatar, I’m a brony (Twilight Sparkle is Best Pony) and if you saw my name and went “OMG AN INVADER ZIM FAN” then you get an thumbs up. Other shows I like include King of the Hill (I have family in Texas which makes it even funnier), a lot of classic 90’s cartoons and shows, and others. For movies, there’s a lot I like. Most Disney (including Star Wars), Lord of the Rings (waiting to for that last Hobbit movie to come out before seeing that trilogy), and just other random stuff. For games, I like a good variety. Most Nintendo properties, Ratchet & Clank, Jak and Daxter (though I do lean toward R&C), Kingdom Hearts, Mega Man as previously mentioned, various shmups, and more recently various fighting games which I don’t play enough to get good (notiable ones I have include Marvel vs Capcom 2, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Ultra Street FIghter IV, Skullgirls, and Injustice). I could keep on but this is getting long. See you around!August 25, 2014 at 7:38 pm #5749
Iv’e been a fan of WayForward ever since playing the original Shantae 6 years back, and I have come to absolutely adore all of their IP’s(as well as their licensed games, of course!). I actually wasn’t aware of how many WayForward lovers were around until the kickstarter for Half-Genie Hero hit last year, it’s really nice to see the community thriving!
