The success of Shantae:1/2 Genie Hero & other original WayForward games could open the door for Wayforward to make an all new Mighty Series title(s) such as Mighty Flip Champs, Mighty Milky Way, Mighty Switch Force 1,2 &/or Hyper Drive Edition that could one day make its way to current & next gen consoles & handheld gaming devices (XBox 360, XBox 1, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, PSP, Wii, Wii U &/or Steam).
These Mighty Series games may have new updates such as online game play, new story lines, new abilities, new characters &/or playable (good & evil) characters to name a few.

There could also be a very small chance in the future that WayForward could eventually make some original WayForward games exclusively for Microsoft, Sony &/or Steam to bring their gaming quirkiness to new & old gamers of all ages.

Time will only tell if Shantae: Half Genie Hero will be the only one game from WayForward original titles to make it on to current & next gen consoles (XBLA,PSN, PS Vita, Vita TV & Steam).

I would actually really like to see Mighty Milky Way, Switch Force, and Switch Force 2 make their way to Steam one day. 😛

Definitely on board with porting the Mighty! series to other platforms such as Sony and Steam! =D Here’s hoping indeed that HGH lays the groundwork for expanding WF’s platform repertoire.

When I first got my DSi and Nintendo offered me a promotional points bundle, I decided on a whim to get Mighty Flip Champs, since then I have gotten all the Mighty games, I’d gladly pay for them again on Steam if it meant something like HD graphics, Big Picture support, stuff like that. I’ve sadly lost my DSi.

Love to see them added to PC. Level editors would be awesome and really add to the longevity of the games, especially for Mighty Switch Force.

Plus the 3D effect would’nt be lost as there are plenty of 3D compatible video cards.

I know mighty flip champs got a PS “minis” version which should be compatible with PSP, PS3 and PSVita.
I’m honestly hoping for a “hyperdrive” edition of Mighty Flip Champs and/or Mighty Milky Way on WiiU one of these days. I feel like those two titles could make use of the gamepad screen like their DSi counterparts.

Only problem is PSN UK/EU doesn’t have this game available for download only PSN US has it.

I don’t know how many of WayForward original games are sold outside of the US. WayForward might be more known outside of the US with their licensed games like Adventure Time:ETDBIDK , Ducktails Remastered, Regular Show games & other games.
Some of WayForward licensed games are hit & miss. Both Adventure Time:Explore The Dungeon Because I Don’t Know & Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby in 8-Bit Land made it to the UK/EU. But I don’t think they both sold well.

I bought Adventure Time:Explore The Dungeon Because & completed the game in 1 week or two & haven’t played it again. I would rather play the BMO games instead of going back in the Dungeon or the Nightosphere . That game almost made me want to never check out or buy any other WayForward games again.
When I found out about Shantae: Half Genie Hero I was first skeptical of donating any money to WayForward to fund the game after Adventure Time:ETDBIDK!.
Luckily for me that the Shantae: HGH PayPal site was still open for donation to fund the rest of the stretch goals, so I took a chance & eventually upgraded to the PLATINUM EDITION + $20 for international P+P.

I think if WayForward could of talked to Nintendo & Sony to get some of their original games placed in different region outside of the US & Canada before or after the KickStarter of Shantae: Half Genie Hero maybe the game could of reach some more of it’s stretch goals via the PayPal site?

But as Shantae: Half Genie Hero: will be available in these region North America, South America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, Russia, and South Africa & The in-game text will be translated from English to French, Italian, German, and Spanish it will open the doors to new fans of Shantae & WayForward in other regions outside of the US which can only be a good thing.

Hopefully Shantae:Half Genie Hero will get the ball rolling for more original WayForward titles to come out in other regions.

It’s a shame Japan can’t donate to Shantae: 1/2 Genie Hero stretch goals, but maybe Japan will get the chance to experience the game in the future.

I’d just like to see more “Hyper-Drive Editions” of games. I’ve got MSF:HDE on the WiiU and I’d love if MSF2 matched it.

I’d get Mighty games on steam if they showed up there, myself. They look rather fun, but I travel too often to really own any consoles. My laptop is okay, since I use it for business as well.

Mighty Switch Force Hyper-Drive Edition on Steam would be an instant buy for me, I hope WF considers it now that all the newest Shantaes have been ported.
