More like Drawn of the Monsters, eh?


Calling all artists and kaiju enthusiasts! In celebration of the recently released Dawn of the Monsters free update and Arcade + Character DLC Pack, WayForward and 13AM Games are excited to announce the Dawn of the Monsters art contest! Whether it’s creatures like Megadon and Ganira or humans like Eiji and Jamila, we want to see your take on the characters, action, and lore of this co-op kaiju beat-’em-up! From now until September 21, 2023, you can post your Dawn of the Monsters-inspired artwork on Twitter — making sure the tweet contains @WayForward, @13AMGames and #DOTMArtContest — and our favorite pieces will win some fabulous Dawn of the Monsters prizes!

Specifically, the grand prize winner will get a rare Megadon Video Game Edition Soft Vinyl Figure, a physical standard edition of Dawn of the Monsters on Switch, PS4, or PS5 (winner’s choice), and a Dawn of the Monsters pin set, and two runners-up will receive the physical Dawn of the Monsters standard edition game on the system of their choice. Winners will be selected by the 13AM Games and WayForward staff and contacted by DM. Good luck!

ADDITIONAL RULES ‘N’ STUFF:

1. To enter, post your artwork to Twitter/X and be sure to include @WayForward, @13AMGames, and #DOTMArtContest on the post.
2. Fan art can include drawings, sculptures, or other types of art – as long as an image can be uploaded to Twitter.
3. You may submit multiple entries! Only one prize per person is allowed, however.
4. Artwork must be your own creation (no AI art, sorry!), and art taken from other sources will be disqualified.
5. Artwork created prior to the contest date is eligible, but must be re-posted with appropriate tags.
6. Entries must be related to Dawn of the Monsters and its world or characters to qualify.
7. Submissions must be posted no later than 11:59pm Eastern, September 21, 2023.
